My best friend : Sony K550i

I always had an addiction towards mobiles and since the day I had my first mobile, Samsung T-Series. I, always, was following the mobile market to keep myself updated with the latest technology in mobiles. As a college-goer, I always preferred Nokia and then Sony was not giving enough competition to Nokia in low-end models. As days rolled on, my appetite for a better mobile increased and finally settled with Sony Ericsson. I now have a Sony Ericsson K550i (Black colored). It has been an year since I bought it but it still looks novice and robust.

My K550i has a 2MP camera, an MP3 player and an FM radio. It provides connectivity through Bluetooth, Infra red and USB cable to other devices. It runs on a Lithium Ion battery. The screen resolution is good enough to play any game with good clarity for a mobile phone. The phone, out of the box, comes with 64 MB internal memory and another 64 MB external memory as an M2 drive. Under normal condition (1hr talk time, 10 sms, 1hr of FM Radio & a game of chess) the battery runs for 3 days without charging. An earphone is packaged with the phone and it also has the antenna for the FM radio. With so many good features, the only demerit is the keyboard layout. Many of my relatives and friends found it hard to operate in the first run. Practise got me adjusted to my phone.

My K550i has now become more of a friend than just a mobile in keeping me entertained day in and day out. With calendar events, task reminders it reminds me of all the events and tasks for any day. It has a very powerful flash light meant for photography at night. This powerful flash light also serves me as a torch light under conditions of Indian Electricity !!

Though there is always a temptation towards a lot of latest models, technology in mobile phones, my friend, K550i, has always stood strong to resist the luring market of mobile phone.

I would recommend anyone to go for Sony Ericsson K550i.
